Simalungun, January 28, 2015. JAPFA and PT Suri Tani Pemuka held an activity titled JAPFA4Kids GO GREEN, at Simalungun at the beginning of 2015. These activities were involving 20 Elementary Schools in the district of Simalungun. 75 students and teachers are participating in this program.
PT Suri Tani Pemuka, supported by JAPFA and Health Department of the District of Simalungun, was giving the education about the benefit of plants for human life. It started with the training about “The benefits of MEDICINAL PLANTS and HOW TO USE THEM”. “The training was provided to educate the children to recognize traditional medicines in their neighborhood,” said R. Arsanti Alif, Vice President Head of Public Relations JAPFA. “Although only be complementary, these traditional medicines could help the children and the communities to cope with mild illness.”
This JAPFA4Kids Go Green activity was the first time implemented by JAPFA and PT Suri Tani Pemuka, and chose Simalungun as the first location. Previously, JAPFA and PT Suri Tani Pemuka will continue to show devotion for communities by creating the fresh environments that support health.
